  • Uttanasana (Standing forward bend): Standing with your feet closed, inhale and raise both your hands above your head. Exhale and at the same time bend your torso forward. Hold this position for 20-30 seconds and repeat it 10 times.
  • Savasana (corpse pose): Releieving stress could not be more easy. Lie down on the floor on a yoga mat keeping your feet slightly apart and relax your knees and toes. Breathe slowly while your eyes are closed. You should stay in this position for at least 10 mins.

  • Uttana Shishosana (Puppy pose): Sit on your fours and then fall forward lowering your chest slowly toward the floor. Make sure your elbows aren’t touching the ground and drop your head to touch the floor with it. Hold this pose for 30 seconds to 1 minute while keeping your neck relaxed.

  • Utthita Trikonasana (Extended Triangle Pose): Stand with feet apart. Turning right foot to 90 degrees after every cycle, bend your torso on the right side. Now, hold your right calf with your right hand and point your left hand towards the ceiling. Repeat this 5 to 10 timeson either side.
  • Balasana (Child pose): The first step is to kneel on a yoga mat with your knees brought together and your buttocks resting on your feet. Now, touch your forehead on the mat by slowly lowering your torso over the thighs and rest your hand on the floor. Hold this position for over 30 seconds and do not forget to breathe regularly.

It is very important that you are consistent with your yoga routine and are practising yoga with the correct pose and posture.
