- Apple Cider Vinegar
Since raw and unfiltered apple cider vinegar is a rich source of potassium, it is helpful in curing muscle cramps. This is because a deficiency of potassium is one of the major causes behind muscle cramps. Also, apple cider vinegar contains several other nutrients, which ensure a proper fluid balance in the body and thus, prevent dehydration.Just take one tablespoon of apple cider vinegar and mix it in a glass of lukewarm water. Now consume this concoction daily to get relief from regular muscle cramping.Besides, if you face frequent nocturnal leg cramps, try this remedy. Mix one teaspoon each of apple cider vinegar and honey, and one tablespoon of calcium lactate in half glass of lukewarm water. Drink it daily before going to bed.
- Clove Oil
Clove oil possesses anti-inflammatory properties and therefore, reduces muscle cramps and the associated inflammation and swelling. Moreover, the anesthetic property of clove oil helps in alleviating pain.All you need to do is warm some heat some clove oil till lukewarm temperature. Now dab some of this warm oil on the affected area. Then massage the area using firm strokes for around five minutes. Follow this process two times in a day. Rosemary is another great herb that has anti-inflammatory properties. Owing to these qualities, it calms down inflamed muscle tissues and thus, reduces pain and soreness. Since rosemary gets easily absorbed by the skin, therefore it speeds up the process of healing.Just take a few rosemary leaves in a jar and then, fill this jar with boiling water. Cover with a lid and the let the leaves steep for half an hour. Now dip a wash cloth in this warm solution and then drain out the excess water. Place this warm washcloth on the affected area for 15 minutes. Later follow the same remedy using a cold compress.Alternately, mix two teaspoons of dried rosemary herb in one cup of hot water. After 10 minutes strain the liquid and drink it while it is lukewarm. Repeat it three times in a day.
- Yellow Mustard
